Sermon in a Sentence: Since Jesus absorbed the fury God intended for us, we can show our genuine love for Him by our obedience to Him.
2:1-2 Christians who grow careless and sin have a Helper who will speak to the Father on their behalf.
2:3-5a Christians who keep God’s Words can be assured they are safe and spiritually maturing.
2:5b-6 Christians who will not walk out on Christ but walk like Christ can be assured they are in His family.
