Doctors like for things to be done in good order. Remember, Luke was a physician. His gospel flows in good order (1:3, “an orderly account”). From the cloud at the Transfiguration, we heard God say, “Listen to Him!” So, in today’s text we listen to Jesus as He instructs us how to pray.
Sermon in a Sentence: God’s arms are always open to us when we pray. Don’t be afraid to talk to Him.
