John’s final vision definitely serves us as the best for last! At the end of the Millennium a new heaven and a new earth will descend from God. As He promised all along, God will make all things new again. As we learn together, keep in mind the Pre-Fall condition of the Garden of Eden.

Although Heaven will be amazing, John’s final vision seems to focus on a host of things that will be absent from Heaven. Here they are:
No More Bondage, No More Decay 21:1
Gone are the days of Violence, Corruption, Immorality, Death.
No More Separation from God 21:2-3
The Garden was a Sanctuary before the Fall.
No More Tears, No More Death 4-7
These verses describe the intense felicity of the Christian.
No More Temple, No More Need for Light 22-26
Presence trumps Place in Heaven.
No Room for Pretenders 8, 27
Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
