As Christians, we were never meant to keep the Gospel to ourselves. We are to be intentional ambassadors on mission for Christ. My goal is to show you how we can share the Good News of Jesus despite obstacles we face. In addition to the texts mentioned above, here are some of the texts I will reference: 1 Cor 2:3, Acts 18:9-10, John 1:14, and 1 Cor 13:1. Grace & truth are important factors in how we share the Gospel. If someone is full of truth, they constantly shout it at others. If someone is full of grace, they are not held accountable for their actions. We need to be full of grace and truth.
Main Idea: Do not be scared to share the Gospel. Christ is on your side. Go out on a mission and show the community His Goodness!
Qualities of an intentional ambassador for Christ:
1.They possess motivation
2.They share despite their trepidation – 1 Cor 2:3, Paul shared despite being scared. He used to kill Christians!
3.Intimidation does not discourage them.
We see how they live by observation
In conclusion, we should look like the one we represent. If you profess to be a Christian, you represent Jesus!
“Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin, and desire nothing but God, and I care not a straw whether they be clergymen or laymen; such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on Earth.“ – John Wesley
