Every Sunday in December I will feature the Son of God. Today’s sermon underscores the superiority of the Son. The first readers were Jewish Christians about to call it quits. They were tempted to turn back to their old ways. If they turn back now, they may never return to the church. Knowing this information may help you to see why the author emphasizes the superiority of the Son. Even the worst of sinners can find forgiveness. Don’t turn back now.
